Meeting Reflections
Quiz Evening 2025 - Hosted
by Daniel & Brian
“Where was the hare from
the book Masquerade by Kit Williams buried?”
And
“What is the County flower
of Bedfordshire?”
These are just two of the
questions asked by our quizmasters, Brian Miller and Daniel Silson in our last
History Group meeting before the summer.
The quiz was centred around Bedfordshire – both historically and
geographically - and certainly got our ‘little grey cells’ working.
Each team of four had a
Joker for one of the rounds and this resulted in some very high scores for
those born and bred in the County. The
quiz was won by the Chris’s Clots team consisting of John and Ruth Caves, Chris
Moss and Paul Phipp.
We had a brief interval for
refreshments during the quiz, which were provided by members of the group. The evening was enjoyed by all those present
and rounded off a successful year.
We have our three summer
trips to look forward to and the 25/26 season starts again on Tuesday September
16th and we look forward to seeing you then – both old and new members.
